Wilson formulates the scientific basis of the Lifelens project. He is responsible for guiding the development and testing of the diagnostic technology. Wilson is a second year MS/Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California- Davis studying Comparative Pathology. He has extensive clinical research experience in vascular disease – serving first as an Edmondson Pathology Research Fellow at UC Davis. His scientific background is coupled with undergraduate coursework at the Rady School of Management and work as a Microsoft Senior Student Partner. Wilson is also the recipient of the Bill and Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship.

Tristan is responsible for development and implementation of the software analysis package of the product. Tristan is a recent graduate from the  University of Central Florida Master of Science student program focusing in Computer Engineering & Image Processing. He is currently working as the UCF Computer Store programmer and campus Microsoft Senior Student Partner, both of which fortify the breadth and depth of his technical and management skills. Tristan has substantial personal experience working in mobile application development on multiple platforms.

 

Jason Wakizaka, UCLA Anderson School of Management

Jason formulates the user engagement strategy and interface design. He is a first year MBA Candidate at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. His prior experiences involved work in digital evidence investigations, first as a computer forensics examiner at the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Digital Evidence Laboratory, and more recently as an engagement team manager in the Forensic Technology Services group at KPMG LLP. Jason studied Computer Science as an undergraduate, and later earned a graduate degree in Computer Forensics, both from the University of Central Florida.

 

Helena Xu, UBS

Helena provides guidance and feedback on project viability and deployment. She is currently a Portfolio Strategist at UBS focusing on performance and business analytics for a private wealth management team in San Diego. She graduated from the University of California-San Diego with a B.S. in Management Science and a B.A. in Communications in 2010. Her past experiences in finance include work at Wachovia Financial Services and Wells Fargo Securities. Her key areas of focus at UBS lie in managing internal systems and socially responsible and sustainable investment practices. Helena and her team were the recipients of the 2009 UC San Diego Entrepreneur Challenge in the Undergraduate Track and Imagine Cup 2010 United States National Title.
